Grace Chapel Statement of Grace
(from: World Wide Missions Cameroon)
by Rev. Michael Jarrett
By Grace we have been saved, not by works or any man made effort.
For by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of ourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest we (or anyone) should boast. Eph 2:9-10
We can accomplish that which is eternal ONLY by His Grace.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Cor 15:10
We will walk in grace as we are not judges of other churches or ministers concerning non-essential practices and traditions.
Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. Rom 14:1
Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls.
Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. Rom 14:4
It is the Grace of God at work in our lives that produces transformation and sanctification
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men teaching us that,
denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ
Titus 2:11-14
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Rom 6:14
We will trust in God’s grace to empower us for ministry and not rely on human abilities and wisdom.
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
2 Cor 12:9
We will not set aside the Grace of God for anything...not rules, religion or regulation.
I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law,
then Christ died in vain." Gal 2:21
It is the Grace of God that brings salvation!
The people which sat in darkness saw great light;
and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
Matt 4:16
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
Rom 5:8-10
